FIRST LEGEND CUB RELEASE!! A fresh-from-the-factory Legend Piper Cub takes off from a 2200-ft. airstrip in Woodstock, Ga. It just happens to be the place where artist Sam Lyons used to live and work. And that’s Sam in the pilot’s seat! The person who commissioned the original painting wanted Sam to be giving his son Greg a flying lesson in the picture.
