Jack Brown’s Seaplane Base is a Winter Haven, Fla., landmark. Since its take-off in 1963, the Seaplane Base has trained over 22,000 pilots from all over the world in the joy of float flying. Jack Brown knew from the beginning that pilots would love the freedom of being able to land anywhere there’s water. He started the business that combines the best of flying and boating.
In 1975 Jack’s oldest son Jon took over the controls. The reputation of the Seaplane Base has grown sky high over the decades. In 2018, Jon’s son-in-law Ben continued the tradition that draws pilots to Winter Haven to fulfill their “Liquid Dreams.”
