The Last Air Show

You can almost hear the roar of the brightly colored SIAI Marchetti as it blows past the crowd at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2007. Debbie Gary is in the cockpit and she’s been thrilling crowds since she became a professional aerobatic pilot in October 1971. Debbie wows her audience one final time in her sleek Italian aircraft. There are some “real” people in the painting, including EAA founder Paul Poberezny. Sam used himself as a model a few times, changing his shirt, hair or hat. The truest representation of him is the man waving at right, in the red shirt.

The 15” x 22.5” prints are available in a Limited Edition size of 200 Signed & Numbered and 20 Artist Proofs.
